A balanced diet and “eating right” are very important in achieving overall health. In today’s instant society, with dual income families and reliance on convenient fast foods, our attention to the most nutritious foods has been diverted.

   Too frequently our foods provide too little of the nutrients we need and too much of the ones we don’t. And if we’re really lucky, the foods we do eat may actually be like a vacuum in our bodies, stealing stored nutrients to get to the few available in the food itself.

   Day-in and day-out over the years our bodies silently become nutrient deficient and begin to break down. Only when we have enough tissue damage that surpasses a threshold do we feel a symptom.
